I must confess, I'm rather torn between opinions on the sacking of Tom Harris as the Labour party's Social Media adviser or, as the tabloids were calling it, Twitter Tsar (horrible title, Twitter is not the be all and end all of social media, but that's another post for another time.)
On the one hand I think it was a harsh decision. That clip from Downfall has been used for ages to parody everything from A Game of Thrones to the Edinburgh Tram Fiasco; it was only a matter of time before an Alex Salmond version popped up. The clip is actually very funny - I bet the First Minister and his Deputy would secretly agree - and for me it says that Mr Harris actually does "get it" when it comes to online and social.
